Saintleo is a New York–based design and production studio operating at the intersection of metal, furniture, and spatial design.
Founded by Leon McKay after his studies of engineering in Melbourne, Australia, Saintleo took shape as an architectural project workshop in Auckland, New Zealand. Following Leon’s interests in music, art and architecture, Saintleo has since evolved into a studio for special projects, collaborations and limited-edition pieces, now based and operating in Brooklyn, New York. Each project reflects Leon’s visual language of design, detail and craftsmanship, combining an eclectic use of raw materials with a refined, contemporary sensibility.

Aluminium
The Box Seat is a feature chair informed by the boxy silhouettes and uncompromising stances found in a utilitarian design approach.
Fabricated from aluminum, the form is intentionally direct prioritizing structure, proportion, and material presence. Each piece is finished either in clear-coated brushed aluminum or Desert Sand.
Both finishes retain permanent printed markings applied via EBS industrial printer, including date, origin of manufacture, and colorway - functional information left visible as part of the object’s identity.
