Saintleo is a New York–based design and production studio operating at the intersection of metal, furniture, and spatial design.
Founded by Leon McKay after his studies of engineering in Melbourne, Australia, Saintleo took shape as an architectural project workshop in Auckland, New Zealand. Following Leon’s interests in music, art and architecture, Saintleo has since evolved into a studio for special projects, collaborations and limited-edition pieces, now based and operating in Brooklyn, New York. Each project reflects Leon’s visual language of design, detail and craftsmanship, combining an eclectic use of raw materials with a refined, contemporary sensibility.

Atlantic Records x Salomon : Grammys Party
Design and fabrication for this set began with an exploration of raw, silver-toned metals and transparency within a live music environment. The installation reinterpreted the JBL 4345 speakers in stainless steel, finished in a semi-polished state and intentionally left raw to preserve surface character and material tension.
The speakers were set into individually fabricated stainless steel mesh stands, extending the material language across the installation and into the DJ booth, which is finished with a polished stainless steel working surface. The material originating as continuous rolls, the mesh was measured, flat-patterned, and cut into sections before each wire was manually stitched together. Through assembly alone, the flexible material gained rigidity, transforming into a structural form.
The result is a system defined by process and scale — where a manipulable material is pushed into architectural presence through repetition, labor, and restraint.
